one skillet parisian dinner

Oui, chef! One Skillet Spatchcocked Chicken with Vegetables. Our chefs channelled their inner Julia Child so you don’t have to. This super easy, satisfying meal dishes up a French classic with all the good stuff.

Think roasted onions, leeks, carrots, turnips, rutabaga and potatoes with a spatchcocked (or butterflied) chicken on top. The chicken is generously brushed with olive oil (so it browns well) and seasoned with salt. Pats of real butter amp up the richness, while a fresh herb bouquet garni adds depth.

Here’s the easy part – the seal keeps it all fresh until you’re ready for dinner. Preheat oven heat to instructions, then remove the seal, and pop the whole pan in the oven. Many ovens are different so check for doneness, then rest for 10 minutes before carving. It’s a meal for 1-2, with leftovers, or up to 4, and we like to arrange the carved chicken over the veggies and finish with sea salt. Stocked in all stores. Enjoy!

P.S. Spend $250 or more and get a FREE bottle of Summerhill's Own Extra-Virgin Olive Oil. In stores only and while suppliers last!
