Who knew sausages could look this good? They taste even better!


Our butcher at Summerhill Market recently launched a new line of sausages — handmade weekly in 6 different flavours. He says, “They are the quintessential sausage, and the honey garlic is awesome!” Did you know we sell over 100 pounds of sausages in our stores each week? There's a good reason why — they are downright delicious!

Our top seller? The Mild Italian. But we really encourage you to try them all; they each have their own subtle characteristics with a mild pork base (except the chicken, of course). You can also choose Hot Italian, Honey Garlic, Rapini, Chorizo, or Chicken.

Summerhill sausages are good morning, noon, and night. Stock up and freeze if you wish; just thaw in your fridge overnight before cooking. They're delicious with scrambled eggs, on your pizza or pasta, wrapped in a potato bun, or enjoyed all by themselves—They're so good.

Here's a cooking tip: Cooking sausages in your oven on a baking sheet is easy and less messy than cooking in on your stovetop. Just line a baking sheet with parchment paper to reduce clean up, then bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 20 - 30 minutes. Remove the sausages from the baking sheet and transfer onto paper towels to blot, then serve warm.

Of course, if you're at the cottage or on your deck, sausages on the grill are one of life's simple pleasures; 20 - 30 minutes does it, and there's zero clean up. Enjoy!
