Our New Strawberry Brown Butter Crostata is Made for Summer
Strawberries are synonymous with summer and they inspired our latest dessert.
Firstly, it’s not too sweet – who needs refined sugar when you’ve got fresh, juicy strawberries? We balanced the tartness with just a bit of coconut sugar for subtle sweetness.
Secondly, it’s simply delicious thanks to the crostata’s perfect brown-butter crust – think rustic, crispy and flakey all at once. We added a little lemon zest too and it makes all the difference.
This is a centrepiece dessert on any summer table and if you crave a little extra sweetness, our homemade Summerhill ice cream should do the trick – don’t miss the just-launched Strawberry Shortcake flavour.
