Discover the uplifting ritual of Fika & Swedish Cardamom Buns.
Our chefs were inspired by âFika.â Itâs a time-honoured Swedish ritual thatâs like a kicked-up coffee break. You see, the Swedes see a sweet and coffee as more than a treat â itâs a deliberate way to slow down and enjoy the moment, even for a short while.
With that in mind, our kitchen created Swedish Cardamom Buns. The full-on flavour of cardamom (itâs like a grown-up aromatic take on cinnamon) is warm, sweet, and also floral with hints of citrus. And itâs the perfect pairing for our homemade pull-apart dough.
These are so yummy, like a sophisticated spin on a cinnamon bun. While theyâre great at room temp, we love them slightly warmed. However you eat them, channel the Swedish âfikaâ and be in the moment. Available in all Summerhill stores, and online here. Enjoy!
