Best Galette Ever!
You need to try our new Swiss Chard Galette with Ricotta and Sumac.
Our chefs have been experimenting with Middle Eastern flavours, and if this month’s Falafel with Tahini is any indication—flying off the shelves—we’d say you are too!
Here, they started with an herby, soft whole-wheat crust that has reassuringly crispy edges. Next, toppings of sweet caramelized onions, sautéed Swiss chard and creamy ricotta.
And here’s where things get really kicked up. We added aromatic spices (hello, sumac!) rich pine nuts and sweet raisins for a powerhouse combo of sweet and savoury flavours. It’s so delicious!
Of course, everything is better crisped in the oven, but you can serve it room temp too, on its own or with a green salad, as a snack or starter. Swiss Chard Galette is available in all stores, or online here. Enjoy!
